This was a very big disapointment to me, because I have put a lot of money in marketing
HC Forklifts in Scandianvia and in 6 month we sold 30 units and the business is/was
growing.
I estimate that we could sell 100 units pr. year. I have 5 independent dealers around
Denmark with 20 salespeople. We handle all the services ourselves and we have 15 years of
experince servicing forklifts.
In Denmark it is estimated that the total sales for 2005 is 1800 units.
Nissan, Toyota, Daewoo, Mitsubishi, Hyster, Heli etc. etc. are all here, and the
competition is very hard. But my team will be 100% devoted to selling Dalian forklifts and
ONLY Dalian forklifts. My concept worked for XX Forklift and it can work for Dalian too.
But before we go any further, I need to know if you will give me exclusitvity for
Scandianvia or not.
I simply can not afford to make the same mistake twice. Kitty, my friend, you have seen my
eyes, and you have met me, so you know in your hart that I am an honest businessman. So I
am asking you to trust me.
I am looking for a longterm businessrelationship with Dalian and you, and I want to
market your froklift under the name Dalian in Scandianvia.
I propose that you convince your boss to honor me this Exclusivity for Scandianvia and
then we get started.
If the Exclusivity Arrangement demands that I have a meeting with you and your boss face
to face, I will gladly come visit you again next week ... if that is what it takes.
I have a lot of proposals regarding internet, website, marketing, brochures, ideas for
product upgrading etc. market-penetrations etc. etc. that you perhaps could benefit from.

I am preparing an initial order for you for 4 forklifts, which I will use for roadshows
and upcomming promotions and exhibitions in Denmark.
