Your price US$6350/- is costing higher landed cost as follows:
US$6350/- X INR 42/- = INR266700/- X 8% Duties =INR21336/- + 5% clearing & other expensesINR 13335 =Total INR301371/-
whereas we are locally buying @ INR280000/-Mt.
Looking to above present landed price,we requested to make it US$6000/- so that we can start long term business.
Trial order is to certify your product by our customers otherwise we do not buy less than 10Mt.

他给我算了笔账,认为他还的价是合理的,虽然我们的这个产品价格一直在走低,但我知道公司还没有按这个价格出过货,但我决定还是跟老总争取下,看能不能降点,哪怕是50美元,至少可以向客户表明我们的诚意。出乎我的意料,老总同意了,说可以降200美元。呵呵~当时就觉得看来还是事在人为呀。
我马上就给客户回了信,因为公司只做前TT和即期信用证,所以不能接受客户提出的CAD付款方式,我就趁给客户降价的机会向客户提出了我方的要求,即付款方式只能按TT和即期信用证。
